MANAGING CHANGE

Hosts: Ruud te Selle, Jorrit van den Burg

MARINE ASSURANCE: TIPS & TRICKS

Hosts: Wout van der Leeuw, Nikita Sukhinin and Sven Oosterwaal

Changes, whether it’s large or small, can affect ship operations in numerous ways. They can be result from dry dockings, updates to SMS, emergencies, etc. Each change introduces potential risks to safety, the environment, and business operations.

During this workshop we will explore on how to identify changes, and assess potential risks. We will also utilize tools for managing change, including approval processes, implementation plans, and review procedures.

Vetting inspections play a crucial role in our ability to navigate the future. As inspections capture performance at a specific moment in time, they provide the foundation for the next step: enhancing marine assurance.

In this workshop, we will help you and your future team to prepare for inspections and build the confidence needed to elevate on marine assurance performance.

LEADERSHIP

Hosts: Arthur van der Kaay, Elize van Rooijen and Simone Luca

OPTIMIZING UTILISATION

Hosts: Karlien Brolsma, Esther van der Voort and Pim van Delft

Your impact as a leader onboard is vital to the well-being of the entire team. Each person brings unique perspectives and personalities, and effective leadership begins with understanding these differences.

By adapting your leadership style to meet the diverse needs of your people, you can increase their motivation and effectivity of your team.

It may sound challenging, but during this workshop you’ll discover insights that will empower you to lead with confidence.

Utilisation is key: At Anthony Veder we only make money when ships sail. And to be precise: Time Charter ships only make money when they are operational.

Utilisation depends on many things: our customers, supply/demand for the cargo that we can carry and of course: technical state of the ship and ability to operate as needed.

In this workshop, we will elaborate on the topic, looking at it from a commercial and technical angle. Besides understanding the importance of utilisation we also would like to hear your feedback, what are our blind spots on this topic?

LEARNING FROM EXPERIENCE

Hosts: Vineet Khandelwal, Jesse Westerman

In the dynamic world of gas shipping, learning from experience is crucial for continuous improvement and innovation. We can learn from our dry docks, technical incidents and other operational experiences. During this workshop we want to reflect on previous challenges and successes, and extract valuable lessons that can be applied to future operations, both for the fleet and for the office.

How can we improve our preparations for drydocks, what involvement does tactical procurement have and how can we use our learnings to better service our charterers? This will be an interactive session where we want to gather your ideas, and we will share our challenges for creating an effective problem-preventing strategy.
