The IT Engineer is situated within the Technology & Support team of the Digital Services department of Anthony Veder. Technology & Support is responsible to deliver, maintain and continuously improve a scalable, safe and open infrastructure, delivering solutions that fit the business needs and support all colleagues across the fleet and in the office to get the most out of this.

As IT Engineer you are intrinsically motivated to continuously maintain and improve the Anthony Veder IT landscape . You are knowledgeable and an enthusiastic, open communicator. You enjoy working together closely with colleagues and vendors/partners to maintain the IT Landscape, but more importantly continuously strive for operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver IT changes to maintain and improve our IT landscape in close cooperation with colleagues and vendors. Using the architectural boundaries to drive your creativity.
  • Work with our IT vendors and drive them to act within the Service Level Agreements and ensure Anthony Veder is provided with timely solutions.
  • Use your every day experience and technical know-how to signal, suggest and execute improvements for the IT landscape and associated processes.
  • Coordinate vendor activities, including incident resolution, changes, and project implementations.
  • Ensure that all changes are thoroughly tested and validated before implementation to maintain system integrity.
  • Support your colleagues with your expert IT knowledge and experience both for incidents and implementation projects. A resolved incident is not the close, it’s the start of our next improvement.
  • A couple of coming projects: Windows 11 implementation, migration to the Cloud, implementation of new SaaS applications and Azure services.

What we ask:

  • Excellent verbal and written command of English and Dutch.
  • MBO IT or HBO IT or equivalent with >5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience with implementing IT Changes in conjunction with vendors.
  • Experience with providing expert support to colleagues.
  • Experience, including certification, of relevant Microsoft products (incl. Azure) (preferred).
  • Experience with ITIL, DevOps and Agile delivery (preferred).
  • Excellent planning, prioritizing and organizing.
  • Taking ownership .
