Meet Onur – Vessel Operator
Can you introduce yourself?
My name is Onur Bilgi and since June, I have been working as a Vessel Operator at the Operations department at Anthony Veder. As an operator, I organize and monitor the daily operation and report it to clients, agents, and terminals. I am also documenting and reporting information, concerning the vessel voyages for stakeholders.
What do you like most about your work?
I like my colleagues, who want to help me. This fosters creativity and helps in finding better solutions to challenges. Additionally, it creates a sense of belonging and mutual respect among team members.
What do you value most about Anthony Veder?
Despite my relatively short tenure of three months at Anthony Veder, I have already witnessed the significant and positive impact of diversity within the company. In this brief period, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside colleagues from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds.
