Meet Mihails – Crewing Manager
Can you introduce yourself?
Hello, I’m Mihails Zukovskis, though most people call me Mike. I currently hold the role of Crewing Manager at Anthony Veder. Originally from Riga, Latvia, I’ve been calling the Netherlands home since 2015.
I’ve been a part of the Anthony Veder team since September 2022, and my journey in the maritime business spans more than half of my life. I started as a crew member and later transitioned to shore-based roles, bringing a wealth of firsthand experience to my current position.
What do you like most about your work?
As a Crewing Manager, I enjoy the dynamic and varied nature of my job. Managing different roles and adapting to changing challenges keeps me engaged. From project staffing to addressing individual team needs, the variety hones my problem-solving skills.
It’s a versatile and rewarding role, contributing to the success and cohesion of the entire crew.
