What you may expect

As an Assistant Financial Controller, you are part of the finance team that consists of 10 colleagues. The finance team is a service-oriented department with the ambition to always improve systems, processes, and reporting further. The finance department works with MS D365 F&O and Tagetik. You will be working closely together with the vessel administrators and finance manager. Report to the Finance Manager

You have the following responsibilities:

• You are responsible for the financial reporting
• Financial reporting consists among others of: weekly PI reporting, monthly financial reporting, covenant reporting to financiers, tax declarations (VAT and CIT), CBS reporting, Ad hoc reporting
• You have a leading role in reviewing the P&L, Balance sheet and Cash flow
• You coordinate the reconciliation between operational and financial systems
• You have an important role in the external audits
• You initiate and participate in optimizations of systems, processes, and reporting

What we ask

• You have at least Bachelor level, for example, Economics, Accountancy and/ or Controlling
• You have at least 2 years of relevant work experience
• You can compile financial reports, have excellent knowledge of Excel, and are used to working with an ERP system
• Knowledge of Dutch GAAP and IFRS
